Flight-Plan has opened up the official website for the newest incarnation of the Black/Matrix series of strategy RPGs. While in the first four games your main character was an angel or a devil, this time the story centers around a 16 year old human boy called Cain and a 16 year old girl by the name of Matia. Like the previous Black/Matrix games, Zero is split in two parts: adventure and battle mode. During a scenario you will eventually run into certain events, which will trigger off battles. The strategy-style battle system will again feature the option to upgrade your weapons by using so-called bio points (blood points in earlier installments).
Published by NEC Interchannel, Black/Matrix Zero for GameBoy Advance is expected to be released sometime in summer 2002 at a retail price of 5,800yen ($45.07USD).
