Dungeon Siege Editor Released

Microsoft announced today that the Dungeon Siege editing tool, Siege Editor, is now on store shelves. The Siege Editor allows players to edit nearly every aspect of the game. Players will be able to assemble terrain with over 3800 options, put over 200 kinds of monsters and 150 different NPCs in their world, integrate battles into the game, set lighting and even sound effects in their game, and more.

Coinciding with the release of the Siege Editor, Gas Powered Games is also publishing a tutorial called the Seige University. The first of many tutorials for the editor, the tutorial will teach players the basics of the editor, such as assembling terrain and creating a basic map. Future tutorials will provide more in-depth details about the editor.
