We reported last month that Monolith Soft's prequel that's not a prequel to Xenogears, Xenosaga, was on track for a release in March of next year.The info came from GameStop's computer system, which may or not have been totally accurate. As it turns out, it wasn't.
Xenosaga is now listed with a date of October 23, 2002, which seems more likely than a March date, considering the game was released in Japan this past February.
For now, the game is listed at both GameStop and Namco's site (see link below) simply titled 'Xenosaga', as opposed to the full title, 'Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht' (which translates to 'The Will to Power'). Whether or not the full title will be used, in English or German, is still unknown at this point.
Namco has confirmed the title will be at next week's E3 show in some form, so expect more news then.
