Rare's Kameo: Elements of Power was one of the first RPGs announced for Nintendo GameCube, along with the now cancelled Raven Blade. The game centers around a young girl of the same name, who is capable of taming the monsters (60 different creatures will be available in the game) that roam her homeland. Kameo's main task, however, is not to catch monsters, but rather search for the six Elemental Children. During the game's real time battles, she can either command her tamed monsters from the rearside of the battlefield, or move right into their minds and take on the competition from a first person perspective.Kameo: Elements of Power is currently scheduled for a release sometime this year.
