Enix of America has announced that it will release the latest entry in the Grandia series of RPGs, Grandia Xtreme, for PlayStation 2 in September.Grandia Xtreme and the PS2 port of Grandia 2 were the first GameArts games to be published by Enix in Japan this spring under an exclusive publishing agreement which dates back to last year, and saw Enix acquire a 15% share in the developers of the popular Lunar and Grandia series.
