Xicat's hit PC RPG Gothic will be released for the XBox in late 2002. Gothic is a 3D Action-Adventure RPG boasting 50 hours of gameplay and its PC incarnation has won numerous awards for its stellar gameplay.
In Gothic, you play as a convict sent to the prison colony in Myrtana to deliver a message from the King to the wizards in the colony. You will be able to join various guilds along your way and learn skills to complete your journey. Players can concentrate on melee combat skills, magic, and stealth by allotting skills points as you level up.
The XBox version of Gothic will be a straight port but it should fix a game-stopping bug in the PC version where it is possible to kill a major NPC, making the game impossible to beat.
