While perhaps overshadowed in the excitement of E3, it was announced several days ago that Star Wars Galaxies would be ported to the consoles.Given the recent announcements regarding Everquest Online Adventures for Playstation 2, and with Sony Online Entertainment involved with the Star Wars Galaxies project, it should come as no surprise that the PS2 will see a port of the game. Since Lucasarts is publishing titles for all of the three major consoles, it is also not surprising to see Star Wars Galaxies heading for XBox.
There is no word of a Gamecube port, and no release dates are set for the console ports. It is also unknown if the console ports of the game will be playable online with the PC version.
Star Wars Galaxies will be released on PC this December.
