Earlier in the month, we brought you news on a sequel to one of the PS2's early RPGs, Dark Cloud. Entitled Dark Chronicle, the sequel is to boast new cel-shaded graphics, and at least two playable characters, by the names of Maximillian (Max) and Monica.Sony was showing off Dark Chronicle at E3, except with a new title: Dark Cloud 2. The title may be tentative, but is likely to stick, at least outside of Japan. There's not much in the way of new info, but we do have six new screen shots and a snazzy new logo for the game.
Dark Chronicle/Dark Cloud 2 is to be released late this year in Japan, with a US release date to be determined (though if you're guessing spring 2003, you're probably not far off).
