At its annual shareholder meeting, Namco announced that it has returned into the black during the last fiscal year, posting a 5.3 billion yen ($43,499,672 USD) profit.Namco hopes to continue this positive trend and increase its market share in the current fiscal year by releasing a total of 69 titles for consoles, as well as 30 arcade games.
Apart from four new installments of the Tales series and Project Venus, an untitled GameCube RPG as well as Xenosaga Episode 2 are in development at Namco's subsidiary Monolith.
