Bethesda Denies PS2 Morrowind
Online retailer GameStop is currently showing a pre-order for an Elder Scrolls Adventures for the PlayStation 2, with a release date of February 17th 2003. While a Morrowind for PS2 owners would be great news, it's not to be. In a statement released by company representative Pete Hines, "Morrowind is not being developed for PS2. PC and Xbox only." There you have it from the proverbial horse's mouth. However, this has yet to rule out a new Elder Scrolls game, just that the game is indeed not Morrowind.
