Final Fantasy XI Hit By First Cheat Attack
Square has temporarily shut down Final Fantasy XI's item auctions. Apparently one or more players managed to obtain large sums of cash in those auctions by using cheats. Until Square's development team has located the loophole used by the cheaters and offered a patch, the item auction system will remain unavailable.
