Two New EverQuest Titles in the Works

According to GameSpot, Sony Online Entertainment has teamed up with two developers to bring new EverQuest games to the PlayStation 2 and PC.

The PlayStation 2 EverQuest title (no, there's no name yet) will be developed by Snowblind Studios, who also worked on Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for the system. This, in addition to EverQuest Online Adventures, will give PS2 owners two EQ games to choose from.

On the PC side, EQ fans are no doubt anticipating EverQuest II, due for release late next year, but there's more coming. SOE is also working with Rapid Eye Entertainment to bring a real-time strategy game based on the EverQuest universe to the PC. It's thus far unclear if the game will feature many RPG elements, warranting coverage from RPGFan, but we'll keep you up to date if it does.

Neither title has received a name or release date as of yet, but keep checking back here for the latest.
