Prince Of Qin Demo Released

Object Software has released the demo for an action-RPG that runs in the same vein as Diablo and Baldur's Gate. In Prince of Qin, the player assumes the role of Fu Su, the eldest son of the emperor of China during the last 20 years of the Qin dynasty. The prince disagreed with his father regarding political issues, and thus was sent far away to oversee the construction of the Great Wall and to defend the country. His military achievements and fair treatment of the people made him extremely popular. However, when his father died, Fu Su was sent a false Imperial Edict declaring that he take his own life. This is where the game deviates from history; whereas in history Fu Su actually commited suicide, in the game he goes on a mission to exact revenge on the one who sent him the false edict.

Players familiar with Diablo will be at home when playing this game. The equipment, map, and battle system are all very similar to the Blizzard series. As players meet allies, they will have the option to recruit them to fight by their side. Also, an intricate weapon creation system is featured in this game. The Prince of Qin demo is downloadable at FilePlanet and is 193 MB.
