Studies Show Increase In Female Gamers

Dr. T.L. Taylor of North Carolina State University has found that more women are playing computer games than ever before. She states that many of these women are even playing games aimed at men. Dr. Taylor has spent a good deal of time studying EverQuest players, and she has found several reasons that females are enjoying the game. She claims that the main reason that many women play EverQuest is the social interaction it provides.

Dr. Taylor will soon release a paper on the subject, entitled "Multiple Pleasures: Women and Online Gaming."
