Ganhou Online Entertainment, the company which is handling the Japanese release of the highly popular Korean MMORPG Ragnarok Online, held an event called Ragnorak 2002 Conference Summer in Tokyo yesterday. Ganhou President Son introduced Gravity's (the Korean company that developed Ragnarok) CTO Kim Hak-Gyuu and character designer Lee Myoungjin as special guests. After apologizing for server troubles, President Son and Kim highlighted the positive reception to the game's newest version and upgrades and vowed to continue working hard to improve the service. After the following talk show, during which fans got the chance to get their questions answered by the three men, a party was held.
Currently there are more than 55,000 Ragnarok Online users in Japan.
