According to some reports, the next issue of the Japanese magazine, Weekly Jump, should contain new information on the upcoming GBA Final Fantasy Tactics.
Supposedly, the characters will be anime-styled and the game will be played in an overhead quarter view. The story will be about ordinary school kids who'll start an adventure in a world that emerges from a mysterious book called "FF". A new system called the "Judge System" will be monitoring battles. Another new feature will be the "Clan System" which will allow the player to accomplish optional commissioned side quests (much like the quests offered at the bar in the original FF Tactics). Finally, the "Region Create System" will let you create your own world map. The main character's name is Marsh (tentative transcription) and is seemingly a woman.
This information is still unconfirmed, but some news on Final Fantasy Tactics should be officially disclosed very soon and we'll make sure to keep you informed.
