NEC Offers Wireless LAN Units for PlayOnline
NEC Access Technica has released two sets of wireless LAN units called Aterm Wireless Expansion Kits, which are specifically labelled to support Square's internet platform, PlayOnline. The two kits will allow wireless connection from a PlayStation 2 unit (equipped with a Broadband unit) and an ADSL modem.
The first set contains two WL11E wireless LAN units, while the second set will additionally contain the broadband router WBR75H. The two kits, which are available through Aterm's website today carry price tags of 29,800yen (251.82USD) and 37,800yen (319.42USD) respectively.
