At Sega's booth, Red Entertainment's Ouji Hiroi as well as Overworks' CEO Ooba and Katsuya Terada presented the newest addition to the Sakura Taisen series, Sakura Taisen Atsuki Chishio Ni. As previously reported, the game is a remake of the original Sakura Taisen. The three developers explained the new elements and events that are implemented in the new incarnation of Sakura Taisen on PlayStation 2. Mr Ouji said he wanted PS2 players to get familiar with the series' origins, prior to the release of Sakura Taisen 5.
Sakura Taisen Atsuki Chishio Ni will be released in Japan sometime next spring.
