New information has surfaced on Enix's GameBoy Advance RPG Oukoku Geist - Samurai Evolution. As previously reported the game's protagonist is a 13-year old boy, named Masamune. He has a very strong sense of justice and is the brother of Kaguya, who fights Murakumo, an association headed by Akira. The latter is a young enigma about whom absolutely nothing is known, except that he and Murakumo have high ambitions. After meeting Sacra, Masamune and his sister get involved in the affairs of Oukoku. Sacra is an enigmatic young lady, supportive of the current world order and hence a target of Murakumo.
Event scenes in Oukoku Geist are visualized in graphics reminiscient of a manga. During battle the game distinguishes between two types of fighters: Samurai and their supporters, called Yaiba.
Oukoku Geist Samurai Evolution has been available in Japan since September 20th at a retail price of 5,980yen (48.50USD).
