Vivendi Universal has announced the development of a new MMORPG based on its Lord of the Rings license, titled The Lord of the Rings: Middle-Earth Online. In addition to Middle-Earth Online, the company plans to develop a real-time strategy RPG named The Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring. Both games will be developed by Vivendi's development studio Black Label Games. No specific platform or release date has been announced so far.
