At the first anniversary of the launch of its hit MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot, developer Mythic Entertainment has announced that 500,000 people have played the game, with more than 50,000 of them having played the game simultaneously at certain times. More than 200,000 subscribers are currently registered and an open beta test is underway in South Korea, with the number of participants exceeding 100,000.In the meantime, the developing studio has been busy preparing the first expansion pack, titled Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles. The expansion pack will offer new character classes, races and three new continents. The graphics engine has also been updated. Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles will be available in the US by mid-December.
