The third volume of Bandai's PlayStation 2 RPG series .hack will be available in Japan in just two months, but the first story details have already surfaced. A friend of the game's protagonist, Kite, gets deeply ill and is eventually rendered unconscious. This is just one example illustrating how strongly The World, the 'MMORPG' that exists within .hack, is already affecting the game's real world..hack Volume 3: Erosion Pollution will be released in Japan on December 12th. The US version of the series' first volume is tentatively scheduled for a February 11th release date.
