New information about the third installment in Bandai's PlayStation 2 RPG series, .hack, has surfaced. .hack Volume 3: Erosion Pollution will feature two new characters, a powerful swordsman named Balmung of the Blue Sky and an axe-wielding girl named Nagako Terashima. Furthermore, it is possible to transfer the data of the second game. High level skills have been added to the equipment and summons more powerful than magic will now be at a player's disposal. The chat feature has also been improved. .hack Volume 3: Erosion Pollution will be released in Japan on December 12th for 5,800yen (48.15USD). The series' first volume will be available in the US on February 11th 2003.
