Bandai's virual MMORPG series for the PS2 is nearly completely released in Japan, with only the fourth (and final) volume to go. Meanwhile, North American gamers will have to wait until February just to get their hands on Volume 1. Domestic release dates for the rest of the series are unclear, but we now know what all 4 will be titled:- Volume 1: .hack//INFECTION
- Volume 2: .hack//MUTATION
- Volume 3: .hack//OUTBREAK
- Volume 4: .hack//QUARANTINE
The names are quite similar to the Japanese titles, which are Infection Expansion, Malignant Mutation, Erosion Pollution and Absolute Encirclement, respectively.
Each volume will also come with a second DVD containing part of an OVA series, and those will be titled as follows:
- Volume 1: in the case of Mai Minase
- Volume 2: in the case of Yuki Aihara
- Volume 3: in the case of Kyoko Tohno
- Volume 4: Trismegistus
