Sangokushi Senki 2 Announced
Koei has announced Sangokushi Senki 2 (Dynasty Tactics 2 in the US) for the PlayStation 2. Just like its predecessor, the game will be based on Romance of The Three Kingdoms. The new game's main improvements over the first game will be updated visuals, a more complex story featuring more characters, and an enhanced battle system allowing part-time generals more freedom in choosing their strategies. The enhanced Strategy Link system will now allow for more than one tactic per turn as well as combinations of several tactics. Your general's skills will improve, depending on how well you fought a battle. By conquering certain cities, your commander-in-chief will also be able to learn special skills, which are unique to this location. Koei is also implementing a replay option into the game, meaning players can watch their greatest battles like a movie.
Sangokushi Senki 2 is scheduled to be released in Japan sometime in spring 2003.
