Pokémon Coming to GameCube

Nintendo has announced the making of an as-yet-untitled Pocket Monster (Pokémon to the rest of us) game for the GameCube in today’s issue of Nikkei.

It seems that a copy of Pocket Monster Ruby or Sapphire linked with a Game Boy Advance or the Game Boy Player will be required for the GameCube Instalment.

Pocket Monster for the GameCube is slated for a summer 2003 release in Japan, at a price of 4800 yen. A US release is all but guaranteed, though there's no word yet on when it will be.
