Final Fantasy Origins Announced, Media Update

Alongside the Final Fantasy X-2 announcement, Square EA also announced Final Fantasy Origins, the North American release of the Final Fantasy I and II remakes in one package (just as Final Fantasy V and VI were released as FF Anthology). The remakes consist of updated graphics and sound, CG intro movies, new scenes and unlockable galleries.

Final Fantasy I and II for the PlayStation were released in Japan on October 31st of last year, selling more than 300,000 copies combined to date. Final Fantasy Origins is set to be available in April of this year.
