At Konami Gamer's Day in San Francisco, the company today announced the latest Castlevania title for the GameBoy Advance, Aria of Sorrow.Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow stars Soma Cruz, who, for once, has no relation to the Belmont family, and is still a high school student. In the year 2035, Soma passes out before the century's first solar eclipse, and wakes up in a castle.
A new feature in Aria of Sorrow is the ability to capture enemies' souls and learn their abilities and skills. Using the GBA link cable, players can trade the enemy souls with friends and gain up to 100 abilities.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is set for a North American release of May 2003.
