Sakura Taisen Atsuki Chishio Ni Release Events Announced

Sega has announced special release events to promote the release of the recent addition to Red Entertainment and Overworks' Sakura Taisen series, Sakura Taisen: Atsuki Chishio Ni for PlayStation 2. Events will be held on the game's February 27th release in Tokyo's Ikebukuro and Akihabara districts.

In Ikebukuro, the company will stage a special pre-release party on the 6th floor of GIGO. Fans will celebrate from 01:00 until 08:00 JST on the 27th to get into the right mood before picking up the newest installment of their favorite series. A price and karaoke corner will be prepared for fans.

In Akihabara, players will have the chance to attend a special premium event, if they are lucky enough to get their hands on one of 200 stickers which allow them to participate in this event at Hirose Event Space. Apart from the appearance of a special guest, fans will also have the chance to pick up Hanagumi Poster sets and original QUO cards. The event will begin at 10:00 and last until 18:00 JST.

Sakura Taisen: Atsuki Chishio Ni will be released in Japan on February 27th. The game's standard version will be available for 6,800 yen ($56.37 USD), whereas the limited edition will cost 9,800 yen ($81.24 USD).
