Enix Announces New Cell-Phone RPG

Starting today, Enix is offering a J-Sky version of its cell-phone-based RPG, Net RPG Der Wald (meaning "the forest" in German). The game's new version will consist of two parts, an adventure and a home part. The scenario of the former has been written by Satoru Akahori of Sakura Taisen fame. In the latter is the player's base, where he can enhance the weapons and items which he collected earlier. It is also possible to invite other players and exchange messages. Several improvements have been made over the original i-mode version, such a new battle screen, new backgrounds and larger characters.

The monthly subscription fee for Net RPG Der Wald has been fixed at 300 yen (2.55USD).
