Japanese Developers Talk FFXII and Sakura Taisen 5

One day prior to the release of his most recent title Final Fantasy X-2 in Japan, Square producer Yoshinori Kitase has said in an interview with Dorimaga that the development of a Final Fantasy X-3 was extremely unlikely. Interestingly enough, he mentioned he was currently working on Final Fantasy XII (which is strange, considering he is heading an entirely different development team).

In another interview, the developers behind Sakura Taisen 5 said they wanted to betray fans' expectations regarding the series' fifth installment - in a positive way. The first original Sakura Taisen title for PlayStation 2 will feature an entirely different approach, a new presentation, style and system compared to the previous titles.
