Square Japan recently released bits of new information on the upcoming Final Fantasy XI expansion, Jirat no Genei. The final character class is the Dragoon (Dragon Knight), which of course includes the famous Jump Attack and the ability to summon a pet dragon. In addition, for the summoner class, the final summon monster will be the familiar lightning elemental Ramuh. Three new areas were also introduced, including a forest-like area called The Boyahda Tree, a between-world filled with thick fog, and a 'The Visionary Atmosphere'.Final Fantasy XI: Jirat no Genei is set for a release date of April 17th in Japan.
