Tir Na Nog IV Announced
04.02.03 - 11:31 PM

Systemworks Alpha has announced the fourth installment of its Tir Na Nog series of RPGs. Tir Na Nog IV will be available for Windows 98/ME/XP/2000 this summer. The game is a fantasy RPG based on a celtic myth, allowing for mouse and ten key gameplay. It will run at a screen resolution of 1024x768. Players can choose between an easy, normal and hard mode. Furthermore, the development team at Systemworks Alpha is implementing an updated Scenario Generation feature. Players who still have the save data of Tir Na Nog III can use this to meet party members from the previous adventure in IV. Since Tir Na Nog IV will offer a total of about 80 playable characters, players can keep in touch with those who are seperated from the active party via a messaging feature. Compared to its predecessor, the number of events has been increased four times to about 300, and 250 different kinds of items ranging from scrolls to weapons are waiting to be used by players.

Tir Na Nog IV for the PC platform will be available in Japan sometime in July 2003, carrying a price tag of 9,800 yen (83.03USD).
