Final Fantasy Origins Ships

Today marks the re-release of Squaresoft's classics Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II in a single-disc PSOne release dubbed Final Fantasy Origins. These versions contain updated graphics, cinema, sounds, and gameplay options, making it new games for veterans and beginners alike. The game tailors more toward the old-school with a high random encounter rate and 16-bit style graphics.

BradyGames has also released a strategy guide for Final Fantasy Origins, with a complete bestiary containing monsters' strengths and weaknesses and a walkthrough for both games.

Final Fantasy Origins is being released by Square Enix U.S.A. with an MSRP of $29.99 USD. The strategy guide has an MSRP of $14.99 USD.
