Sega Upgrades Financial Data

Sega announced updated projections on its financial data today, reporting that consolidated sales for the fiscal year ending on March 31st will reach 197 billion yen (1.69 billion USD), compared to earlier projections speaking of 195 billion yen (1.68 billion USD). Instead of a profit of 500 million yen (4.29USD), the company now expects to post a profit of 3 billion yen (25.76 million USD). According to Sega, the better than expected figures are a result of a strong performance by its arcade division.
