In an interview with Weekly Famitsu, director Katsuya Terada commented on his current project Sakura Taisen 5 for the PlayStation 2. Apart from mentioning already known tidbits (a new stage, new heroines, a new protagonist, the appearance of Rachel), he also commented on the game's development status, saying it was 3% complete. Last but not least, one central aspect of the game will be the flow of stardom.Given the very early development phase, it should not come as a surprise that Sakura Taisen 5 has yet to receive a release date.
