DigiCube has shed some light on the additions being made to the PlayStation 2 version of Nihon Falcom's classic action RPGs Ys I and II Eternal Story. The title's limited edition will ship with four original bottle keeps as well as a georama base (into which the bottle keeps can be placed). Game-wise, the updated eternal story mode will offer two new characters, the artist Misha and the musician Jannu. Furthermore, the development team is implementing a new battle system known as Alternating Equipment System, or AES.
Ys I and II Eternal Story for the PlayStation 2 will be available in Japan sometime this summer. The standard edition will be available for 6,800 yen (57.67USD), whereas the limited edition will retail for 9,800 yen (83.11USD).
