While certainly not the oldest strategy RPG series for consoles, Arc the Lad has been one of the most noteable. The first game in the series was one of the very first RPGs of the 32-bit era and its sequel has been lauded as one of the finest console strategy RPGs ever. Sadly, there wasn't much to praise about Arc the Lad III but who's counting?This month we'll see the series come to next generation hardware with Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. This latest installment shows a great deal of promise and will hopefully bring the series back into the limelight after the disappointment of Arc the Lad III.
