Sony Online Entertainment has announced a new expansion for its highly successful PC MMORPG EverQuest, titled Lost Dungeons of Norrath. The newest addition to the EverQuest universe will offer players more than 40 dynamic dungeons to explore. The emphasis this time is on single group play, as the development team has come up with a new system allowing groups of players to fight their way through dungeons depending on their strength. As rewards for the dungeon-crawling, new spells, trade skills, and weapons are waiting to be obtained. Story-wise, the newest EverQuest expansion continues from an area featured in the previous expansion pack (Leagcy of Ykesha) known as Broken Skull Rock.Lost Dungeons of Norrath will be available sometime this fall in limited quantities. Interested users can choose whether they want to pick up the game at the nearest retail outlet or download it from SOE's servers.
