In this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu, Aruze revealed some information regarding their recently announced PlayStation 2 RPG Shadow Hearts 2. Unlike the original game, the new title will be developed by Nautilus, a company made up of ex-Sacnoth employees. Sacnoth was the company responsible for the first game in the series. The visuals will be improved and the story will take place half a year after the events in Shadow Hearts. The game's two main characters will be Nicole and Karen. As far as the game's stage is concerned, it will be moving from Europe in the year 1915 to Far East Asia. Maps will be in full polygonal 3D and the popular judegment ring system of the prequel will receive a major update. Battle-wise, combination attacks will also be included this time.
Shadow Hearts 2 has yet to receive a release date, but RPGFan will keep you posted once any new bits of information on the title surface.
