07.09.03 - 11:12 PM

Sega today announced that Sonic Team president Yuji Naka and Toshihiro Nagoshi, head of Amusement Vision will become part-time executive directors of Sega AM2. Just yesterday the company announced that AM2 veteran Hiroshi Kataoka will take over as the development studio's president, following Yu Suzuki's appointment as manager of Sega's Home Soft R&D Division.

More details regarding the progress of Sega's internal restructuring should be announced soon, as the company will re-group its Japanese development studios, by scaling down their number from nine to seven, effective October 1st.
