Pirates of the Caribbean Editor Review
07.23.03 - 9:11 PM

Bethesda Softworks, the company responsible for the recent blockbuster Morrowind, has returned to publish the Akella-developed sequel to Sea Dogs entitled, Pirates of the Caribbean. The name change, influenced by Disney, was done in order to connect the game to the recently released movie of the same name. Many fans have expressed their anticipation for the PC title, awaiting what many call, "Morrowind with pirate ships".

Has Disney's decision to join the Sea Dogs series helped the production of Pirates of the Caribbean? The answer will vary depending on who you ask. But one truth remains: the game has certainly been met with mixed emotions and unsure attitudes.

I recently had the opportunity to play through Pirates of the Caribbean and have formulated my own response to the above question. To find my answer, simply navigate to my review linked below.
