Square Enix Reports Financial Facts and Figures

Square Enix has reported its financial results for the first quarter of the current fiscal year. The company has posted consolidated sales of 8.2 billion yen (68.38 million USD) and a net profit of 150 million yen (1.25 million USD). Square Enix has only released the Final Fantasy XI expansion disc Rise of Zilart and Hanjuku Eiyuu Tai 3D (Hanjuku Hero VS 3D) in Japan throughout the April to June peroid. For the full fiscal year, the company should be able to post another round of impressive numbers, mainly thanks to the projected release of Final Fantasy XII for the PlayStation 2 by the end of this fiscal year.
