Dragon Quest VIII & True Fantasy Live Online Media
08.01.03 - 10:00 PM

After releasing the mediocre Dark Cloud, most gamers likely felt no strong desire to give developer Level 5's future efforts a chance. Those that could overlook the first game found something marginally better in the sequel. Earlier today, we brought you Level 5's teaser image for what might prove to be another great Dark Cloud title.

Until that game is announced however, Level 5 has two other confirmed titles in development: The Xbox Live-enabled MMORPG True Fantasy Live Online, and the next installment in the biggest RPG series next to Final Fantasy, in Dragon Quest VIII.

While neither title has a firm release, we do have a wealth of new screens and artwork for both of them. Check out 21 brand-new screen shots for Dragon Quest VIII, along with 30 screens & 10 pieces of character and monster art for True Fantasy Live Online.

True Fantasy Live Online is expected to release in either late 2003 or early 2004, with a North American release to follow. Dragon Quest VIII has simply a vague 2004 release, with a NA release all but assured eventually.
