The already impressive cast of characters is joined by elemental spirits. The water spirit Undine, the three wind spirits Sefi, Utix, Fearless, the fire spirit Ifrit, the earth spirit Gnome, the thunder spirit Volt, the ice spirit Celcius, the light spirits Luna and Asuka as well as the dark spirit Shadow. All nine of these spirits can be seen on our updated artwork page.

Furthermore, Namco has uploaded the game's opening movie sequence in form of 20 screenshots, which you can take a look at in the appropriate gallery.

Tales of Symphonia hit Japanese retail stores on August 29th. Unlike its predecessor Tales of Destiny 2 (for the PS2) however, it will be available on this side of the Pacific in early 2004, courtesy of Namco Hometek.
