From Software has announced several new titles at its Tokyo Game Show booth. The company is currently working on King's Field for the J-Sky mobile platform. Apart from a 3D game, the new service will encompass mini games, ring tone voices and melodies as well as wallpapers. The service will begin in early 2004.From Software is also showing off Shadow Tower Abyss for PlayStation 2 in Tokyo. The 3D action RPG allows players to seperately damage various parts of an enemy's body. By attacking and taking out the arm of a weapon-wielding enemy, you can severely limit his attack options. The game will take place in a modern era, so firearms will also be accessible. The total number of items will exceed 500.
Shadow Tower Abyss will be available in Japan on October 23rd for 6,800 yen ($60.72 US).
