New Kingdom Hearts II Details
10.04.03 - 12:41 AM

In the most recent issue of Weekly Famitsu, Square Enix revealed some details regarding the sequel to its 2002 action RPG Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II. The men in black capes, who are stronger than the Heartless and debuted in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, will make many appearances in the new game. The Heartless which Sora and Co. will face also differ from their original game's cousins. In three screenshots, Sora is seen fighting with a gigantic gray-colored Heartless capable of changing its form and seeming far more agile than its predecessors. Interestingly enough, two more so far unknown characters are mentioned in the article. A black-clad boy with spiky red hair and a weapon reminiscent of the ones used by Dew Prism's (Threads of Fate) Mint. The second character, who might be the game's main villain, is wearing a black-red robe.

Kingdom Hearts II has yet to receive a release date, but chances are the game will be available in Japan sometime in late 2004.
