10.29.03 - 2:05 AM

Square Enix and the American micro processor giant Intel have announced a cooperation agreement aimed at improving on and offline gaming experiences on mobile devices such as cell phones and PDAs as well as PCs. The cooperation will include mutual product planning, development and joint marketing opportunities. Square Enix has already worked closely with Intel on the PC version of its MMORPG Final Fantasy XI. In the future, the company will continue to optimize its PC titles for Intel processors, whereas Intel plans to fully utilize its new technologies, such as hyper-threading or XScale, in the gaming segment.
