Disgaea: Hour of Darkness Editor Review
11.12.03 - 2:07 AM

Atlus's latest PlayStation 2 strategy-RPG, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, was received with quite a bit of anticipation in the gaming world. Even before its release in late August, many fans of the genre were anxious to get their hands on what many were calling the "most innovative SRPG ever". And while that title is a difficult one to live up to, many who have played Disgaea are still saying that it is a title well-deserved.

But is the game really worthy of all this praise, or are the players being drawn into an illusion created by the hordes of fans who rave about it? A bit earlier this year, editor Christopher Holzworth gave us his look at Disgaea in which he, in his own way, answered this question. Now, editor Mike Bracken is giving us a second opinion. If you are still undecideded about your purchase of this PlayStation 2 title, perhaps Mike's review will help to persuade you one way or the other.
