Microsoft recently updated their True Fantasy Live Online site at XBox.com. The update features a plethora of content made up of new pictures, concept art, information about character creation, battles, races, as well as background music undoubtedly sampled from the game. True Fantasy Live Online is being developed by Level 5 and Microsoft, and is currently the only Massive Multiplayer Online RPG title in development for the XBox console. It also aims to be the first MMORPG to make use of a cel-shaded graphics engine, as well as rely completely on voice-chat capabilities for communication between players through Microsoft's XBox Live service.
The Japanese release is currently aimed at 2nd Quarter 2004. No date has been set for the US release.
